Sonia is an accomplished financial leader with over 25 years of international experience spanning banking, insurance, and technology-driven scale-ups. She has held senior executive and board roles at GE, Home Credit Group, Allianz, and Rohlik Group, where she served as Group CFO during its rapid European expansion and achievement of unicorn status. Her expertise includes corporate governance, risk management, M&A, and international growth. Sonia currently serves on the supervisory boards of KBC Group’s insurance companies in Bulgaria and advises high-growth companies such as Pillow Insurance and Mejzlik Propellers in the Czech Republic. Sonia holds an MBA from University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
