Emília Mamajová
Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Before co-founding EVERITA Capital and its predecessor fund ESPIRA, she led investment activities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for PineBridge Investments CEE, managing over €500 million in assets. Through her experience with transactions of €1 – 50+ million, Emilia identified opportunities in the underserved market of small and medium-sized companies, particularly those with women leadership, which led to founding of ESPIRA Investments.
Emilia’s career journey includes roles at Benson Oak Capital and Penta Investments, where she worked alongside founders and management teams to facilitate growth across diverse sectors including healthcare, consumer goods, manufacturing, and services.
She holds an MBA with honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, she serves as an Investment Committee member at Tilia Impact Ventures and as a board member at the Czech Venture Capital Association (CVCA), where she also leads the Level20 initiative in the Czech Republic focused on growing female professionals in the investment field.
Emilia brings professional depth combined with inclusive thinking to each partnership. Her approach exemplifies our belief that the most meaningful growth happens when financial expertise meets genuine human connection.
Hadewych Cels
External Investment Committee Member
Hadewych brings versatile expertise in private equity, consulting, and entrepreneurship to EVERITA Capital. As co-founder of Karmijn Kapitaal, a female-founded Dutch investment firm with a decade-long track record similar to EVERITA’s approach, she has demonstrated the value of diverse leadership in driving sustainable growth.
Her experience includes managing turnarounds of multinational factory disposals as co-founder of Plain Vanilla and leading software and aviation companies. With economics and mathematics studies complemented by a Harvard MBA, Hadewych serves on EVERITA’s and ESPIRA’s Investment Committees, championing our collaborative, people-first investment philosophy.
Chris Mruck
External Investment Committee Member
Chris is a former Managing Partner of Advent International responsible for Advent’s investment activities in Central and Eastern Europe. Chris has over 20 years of private equity experience mainly in sectors such as business & financial services, industrial, retail, and consumer & leisure.
Prior to joining Advent, Chris was at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, latterly as Senior Banker for Czech Republic. Chris is also an Investment Committee member of ESPIRA Fund.
